Windows 11 : Useful Registry

Below are some of the Registry entry or modification for Windows 11 that I find useful or convenient, it may not suit you thus use it sparingly.

Just copy the registry setting in those boxes into a Notepad and save it as *.reg to your preferred folder location and import it afterward.

1. Change "Search" box to icon.

2. Disable "Network Connected Devices (NCD)" auto setup.

3. Disable Drivers searching and update in Windows Update.

4. Disable "Search" from searching the Internet & suggestions Apps or Advertisements. May need to re-build the "Index" afterward.

5.  Disable download Updates from other PC, this will prevent computer from downloading updates from another PC or allow upload of updates to another PC.
