Windows Virtual PC - Disabled Floppy [A:] Drive from BIOS

The A: drive is enabled in a VPC VM bios by default. You can get into the BIOS manually when you start the VM, by pressing SHIFT+ESC to open the console window and then pressing the DEL key to enter the BIOS. This needs to be done quickly as soon as the VM is started from a powered down state.

The .vmc file can be modified to, but I'm not sure of the section of the CMOS type that needs to be changed. I think if you change the first "4" to a "0" you will disable the floppy (<cmos type="bytes">00004 to <cmos type="bytes">00000), but it may also cause a BIOS error on reboot and force you to go into the BIOS again. I guess it's one easy way to get into the BIOS.
